BSAVA Alba is open to Veterinary professionals from small animal practice. There is something for the whole team, including:

  • Veterinary Surgeons
  • Veterinary Nurses
  • Practice Owners 
  • Clinical Direcotrs
  • Practice Managers
  • Students are welcome if they feel content is suitable

Registering for BSAVA Alba is simple, just follow the steps below to secure your ticket!   1. Click Book Now to begin. Login using your BSAVA login credentials, or create new if you don't have an account with us yet
  2. Check your details, and select your ticket option. 
  3. Choose to pay by card or purchase order and confirm. A booking confirmation will be emailed to you. Done!

Online registration remains open up to and during the live event for last minute bookings.

Once your booking is complete, you will receive:

  • Confirmation email with booking summary and invoice
  • Updates and announcements, including when new workshops are added to the programme
  • Pre-arrival email with essential "know-before-you-go" information

If you have not completed your booking, you may receive one or more auto-reminders to finish your booking as well as other event updates.

Standard rate full-event tickets start from £52+VAT for Members and £129+VAT for those who are not a member. We value our BSAVA Members which is why we offer our exclusive lowest rates to them. 2-day and 1-day options are available. View the pricing page here.

Registration includes access to the exhibition hall and lectures on the day of your ticket. We also include a complimentary hot buffet lunch, as well as refreshments served during breaks in the programme. 

Please note, the dentistry and imaging workshops are not included with tickets, and should be added at a supplementary fee of £17.50+VAT

All event passes are pre-printed and available to collect on arrival - please note, no event pass is sent via email or post. Please visit the Registration Desk located in the Argyll Foyer (left as you enter the main Argyll Suite entrance), to collect your badge, lanyard and delegate bag. We are open from 8:15am each day. This includes all:

  • Delegates
  • Speakers
  • Chair
  • Stewards
  • Volunteers

We appreciate circumstances may change and you may be unable to attend the event. Please see below the terms and conditions regarding cancellation or changes:

CANCELLATION BY THE ATTENDEE

  • All cancellations must be made in writing and will be acknowledged in writing.
  • Cancellations of BSAVA Alba registrations for 2026 made on or before 14 June 2026 will receive a full refund minus a (£15 administration fee).
  • Cancellations made between 15 June 2026 and 30 August 2026 will receive a 50% refund.
  • Any cancellations received on or after 31 August 2026 will not receive a refund.
  • Name replacements can be made at any time before the start of the event.
  • Two-Day Passes cannot be split between attendees.
  • Cancellations of booked practicals made prior to the event will be fully refunded, however no shows will not receive any refund.
  • Cancellations may be processed following the live event.

Please note, there will be no partial-refunds if a pass is transferred, and we reserve the right to charge the difference if the attendee is a non-member/differs to the ticket option purchased.

Arrival Information, Travel & Venue

Our event takes place in the Argyll Conference Suite at the Glasgow Crowne Plaza. The event takes place on the ground floor, with direct access from the main Argyll Suite entrance at the front of the hotel; or if staying at the hotel, there are stairs/lift from room level down to the Castle Foyer (follow signage). 

Please note, the practical workshops take place on the upper floor accessed via stairs/lift.

There is a pay and display open air car at the Crowne Plaza for conference guests.

  • Argyll Foyer: Your first port of call. Here you will find the registration desk in the main entrance, to collect your pass and delegate bag. There are also a number of exhibitors as well as catering points located here.
  • Argyll 1: Ground floor, accessed via the Argyll Foyer. Lectures. Theatre style. Banquet chairs with chair covers. No tables.
  • Argyll 2-3: Main exhibition, catering and seating.

  • Orkney: Upper floor, accessed via stairs/lift from the Castle Foyer. Max capacity 15. Classroom style. Practical CPD and workshops.

No. There are no cloakroom facilities for luggage or bag storage. Hanging rails will be provided at the back of the lecture room for coats and jackets.

No. The onsite car park at the Crowne Plaza charges a fee to conference attendees; payable at the Pay and Display machines or Payment App.

As long as you have booked your event ticket online ahead of the event, you are "registered". You do not need to check-in with us each morning, however on your first visit you must come to the Registration Desk, to collect your event pass, delegate bag and other materials.

Your event pass must be worn at all times, and a lanyard will be provided to you. If you are attending the pre-bookable workshops there will be a reminder summary on the reverse of your badge.

Your delegate bag includes the Event Guide with programme and exhibitor information, notepad and pen, as well as other goodies and giveaways from a selection of our exhibitors.

All pre-bookable workshops will have an attendee list at the door; if you are not pre-booked you will not be able to join the session unless a space is available. You may be asked to wait until all attendees have arrived.

Yes, there is free Wi-Fi throughout the conference space for attendees, exhibitors and guests. The network is ihgwifi and the log in code is glwcr

Catering, Seating & Special Requirements

There will be catering points located in and around the exhibition hall, with tea, coffee and water served throughout the day. Alternative milk options will be available.

  • Lecture rooms: Argyll 1 and Castle may be used by attendees during breaks (up to 150 banquet style chairs with covers)
  • Argyll and Castle Foyer: Poseur tables and stools/high chairs
  • Argyll 2-3: Banquet tables and chairs (up to 40) in the main exhibition 
  • Conservatory: Accessed via the Castle Foyer, with additional seating

Join us in the exhibition on Friday 25 September 5pm-6:30pm for our social drinks reception. This free-to-attend event welcomes delegates, speakers and exhibitors.

Programme & CPD

Self-completing CPD certificates will be emailed to all attendees at the end of the event. The certificate may be used to detail the sessions you attended whilst at the event; with up to 12 hours available (6 per day).

We are pending approval with RACE for 20 hours CE. Further details to follow.

If you are a registered with the RCVS 1CPD app, you can record your attendance at each session in two ways:

  • Manually enter the session details yourself
  • Scan the QR code at the beginning of the session to populate the session details

Please note, QR codes will only direct you to the RCVS 1CPD app if you are a registered user. For internal delegates or those without an RCVA 1CPD account you cannot record attendance by scanning the QR codes - please record your attendance via your own accreditation platform or by completing the CPD certificate.

In addition to our main programme, we are pleased to offer a number of additional practical workshops. These sessions take place in Orkney and are limited to 15 attendees. Pre-booking is essential for all workshops and must be booked when registering online, or by contacting us at events@bsava.com

Yes! All our attendees including speakers and exhibitors are welcome to attend any session within the main programme whilst attending the event.

Yes, our main lecture rooms Argyll 1 and Castle will have an in-room AV technician for the duration of the event. They will assist you with setting up your presentation on either the laptop provided or your own device. They will also help you with sound checks and microphones. Our event stewards and session Chair will facilitate any Q&A with the audience, with a hand held mic.
