The main event space and lecture theatres

Argyll Foyer

Your BSAVA Alba experience begins in the Argyll Conference Suite, conveniently located at the front of the building near the SEC campus, with step-free access throughout.

Start at the BSAVA Alba Welcome and Registration Desk in the Argyll Foyer to collect your badge and event bag, then enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee while catching up with colleagues and exploring our exhibitors.

As the hub of the event, the Argyll Foyer provides easy access to the Exhibition Hall, Argyll 1, and the Castle Suite, making it easy to navigate your day and make the most of everything BSAVA Alba has to offer.

Argyll Suite

The Exhibition Hall, located across the Argyll Foyer and Argyll 2-3, is the heart of the event. Meet exhibitors, discover the latest products and services, and connect with colleagues over refreshments throughout the day.

With additional catering stations and seating areas, it's the perfect place to recharge between sessions. The Exhibition Hall will also host the Social Reception, making it the hub for networking and socialising.

Just off the foyer, Argyll 1 is one of our two main lecture theatres, seating up to 150 delegates. The room is fully equipped with presentation and audio-visual facilities, with coat rails available at the rear.

Castle Suite

The Castle Suite is home to Castle 1, our second lecture stream, with seating for up to 150 delegates and coat rails available at the rear of the room.

The adjoining Castle Foyer provides access to the Conservatory, offering additional seating during refreshment and lunch breaks, ideal for networking or taking a quiet moment away from the main event.

You'll also find the stairs and lifts to the hotel floors and Orkney, where our practical workshop sessions take place.

Catering and Seating

From your first coffee to your final conversation of the day, BSAVA Alba offers plenty of opportunities to relax, refuel and connect. Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and a pastry on arrival each morning in the Argyll Foyer and Exhibition Hall, with additional refreshments available during the scheduled networking breaks. Lunch will be served in the Argyll Foyer as a hot fork buffet, with vegetarian and gluten-free options available.

You'll find seating throughout the venue, including table seating in the Exhibition Hall and Conservatory, as well as additional seating in the lecture rooms for those seeking a quieter space during breaks. Poser tables are also dotted throughout the venue, creating informal spaces to meet, chat and continue the conversation.
