Anselmo graduated from Spain in 2010 and moved to the UK in 2016. Since 2020 he is a Certificate holder in Diagnostic Imaging with a strong bias in ultrasound.

He worked for many years in busy first opinion practices in England before moving to the Diagnostic Imaging Department at the University of Glasgow in 2021, where he lead the final year student rotation while developing new methods of ultrasound teaching, as well as providing ultrasound services for the Small Animal Hospital.

Since 2025 he works as a freelance veterinary sonographer in Glasgow and surrounding areas.
