This highly interactive, case-based session will challenge delegates to work through a series of common surgical presentations encountered in first-opinion practice. Participants will be encouraged to ask the questions they would ask the owner, decide which diagnostic tests they would perform, interpret the findings and formulate practical management plans. Each case will explore how patient factors, owner expectations, financial considerations and available resources influence clinical decision-making within a contextualised care framework. Audience discussion and polling will be used throughout to compare different approaches and explore the evidence behind them.
