Seizures in dogs and cats are one of the most common neurological conditions seen in general practice. Generalised seizures can be easy to recognise by caregivers and vets but focal seizures can remain a challenge to identify. With the dawn of the smartphone, other paroxysms that have been mistaken for seizures in the past, have become more recognised. Paroxysmal dyskinesias and other movement disorders are some of these paroxysms that have been unearthed.
