The University of Glasgow is pleased to welcome attendees of BSAVA Alba to its home city.

Our core purpose is training veterinary surgeons for the future. As part of this, we are actively engaged in all forms of training and education, clinical research, and running Hospitals and Clinics. The Small Animal Hospital here in Glasgow offers second opinions and referrals for practices throughout Scotland and Northern England in a wide range of specialisms including internal medicine, surgery, neurology, ophthalmology, cardiology, and oncology all supported by our team of anaesthetists, diagnostic imagers, and criticalists. We also run a 24-hour emergency clinic, servicing dozens of clinics throughout Glasgow, and a primary care General Practice, The Pet Practice.

As a leading institution serving its community, we are committed to fair and transparent pricing and access for everyone. Our training courses are practical and academic, are aimed at all levels in our profession (whether veterinary surgeons or veterinary biosciences), are aimed at everyone from qualified veterinary surgeons through to veterinary nurses through to veterinary scientists.
